Problem download my CD

So, my cd game, zoo tycoon 2, wouldn't start up. So I uninstalled it and attempted to reinstall it. Although... nothing happened. I popped the disk in, with nothing happening. No error messages, no installshield wizard, no anything. I don't exactly know why, so help?

Hi, auto run may be turned off so follow the steps for XP:
Open Windows Explorer by pressing the Windows + "e" key.


Right-click the desired CD-ROM and select Properties from the menu.

Select the AutoPlay tab.

Select each item from the pulldown list and for the Action to perform, select "Take no action" to disable autorun, or pick the apporpriate action to take if enabling autorun.

Select OK.
Or you can run the setup .exe manually by going the windows explorer and open the cd rom and doubled click on the setup.exe

Thank you for your help, but I can't seem to find the "desired CD-ROM" on there. So therefore, I can't exactly enable autoplay.

Sorry if I sound like an idiot right now, i'm just really clueless.. thanks~

Oops, I realized that along with my sound driver, I deleted the cd rom drive too. it's a toshiba dvd-rom sd-r 1202 driver, but i can't find it.
