Outlook rule - please help

Hi, my boss wants to know how we can set a rule so that whenever he receives an email with his name in the "to" field... it automatically goes to the top of the list for that particular day. All other emails can be sorted by time received

Any ideas?

Create the rule with his name and create another folder with his name, then all emails with his emails will go into that folder sorted by date. What you want to do can only be done manually.

Set rule as: 'Where the To line contains people' (insert his name) - then either Flag, Highlight with colour (or both) - whilst not exactly what your boss wants - it will ensure message/s sufficiently stand out, for him to prioritise.

You can choose to automatically download to another folder or not - depending on how busy the daily mailbox is.
