Well I have tryed to fix my sound as I do not get no sound from the net at all. i have tryed by...doing this.!

1. Click "Start".
2. Select "Run".
3. Type: sndvol32
4. Click "OK".
5. Make sure the following are not muted and the volume is up for "Volume Control" and "Wave".

and it still has not worked, my media player works great, but when I'm on the net. for MSN, or Facebook, or Youtube... I get no SOUND , but the Video comes in great.. I'm at my wits end , if any one knows how to help me fix this, I would be very greatful ..
Tk you and have a good day...

check this
Start / Control Panel / Administrative Tools / Component Services / a separate window will open – in left pane click Services(Local) from the tree / Scroll down to Windows Audio service / if the service is Disabled or Manual right click > select Properties > under Startup Type change to Automatic > click Apply / click Start > OK Reboot
