Using Microsoft Office 2007, get error message.

Has anyone ever had the problem when opening a word file on the desktop or elsewhere and then receive the message "Windows cannot find Cdoc)Make sure you typed the name correctly and try again." Seems to be a compatibility issue with Vista and Microsoft office 2007. I have tried several ways and searched the web and found a few techniques. I have minimized the problem, but it still persists. It only started to happen about two weeks ago. I have Avira Antivirus program and Vista(32 bit). I know this problem exists with other users. This is only occuring when I use Microsoft Office word 2007. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling Office 2007, cleaning the registry of all remnants of Office 2007, but to no avail. I need a solid and clear solution. Thank you for your help and support!
