CD-DVD Drive Not There...help?

Hey, im new here and joined to see if you guys have and Idea's how to Fix my Problem.

I have a CD-DVD Drive which will not read any disk. When i go into "My Computer" It only reads my Card Reader drive F but my CD-DVD drive is not there.

Any help?

Is it in Device Manager? You installed any new software lately? Itunes for e.g.?

Uuuh, No. i Havent except Call of Duty:World at War.

And it worked fine afterward for a few weeks then it just suddenly does not appear.

Alright, got Driver manager, And it says I have the Startup as Automatic but it says it has been stopped...

Help?

Right click on it and click on restart or start.

Can you boot off of any bootable CD?

No. I can't.

It say's my drive is working properly...But it wont read disks or show up on my computer.
