creating a slideshow

I want to burn a huge number of pictures onto a cd or dvd in a slideshow format that could be viewed on a regular dvd player.

I've found a way to do it with MyDvd but it only holds 99 pictures in the slide show and you have to add them one by one manually. I have way way more pictures than that but not more than one CD full. Any ideas on how to do this more efficiently?

hmm, try changing the type of picture to something else.. like rename your pic from jpg to gif... it can give u the same quality but the size of it decreases... therfore making it faster ... :X

A bit shabby i guess... but i cant think of how to put them on a slideshow, ive never tried it before.

I was told by a pro in this field that a dvd player (do you mean tv type?) limits you to 99 pictures at 2.1 megapixels jpg for most players and burned in the iso format. More than 99 pics regardless of resolution does not work. As far as changing file type, you would have to find out if it was supported by the player. Your player's manual should have the relevant data. A computer's dvd player should be able to support higher megapixels. And its a job I despise as well.

Do Not change your images to GIF, you will reduce the colour depth to 256 (8 bit) colours and they will look crap.
