Error With Excel 97

I have a problem with Microsoft Excel, i have a spreadsheet with several sheets in, however when i go to copy a sheet it closes down Excel saying there was a problem with Excel.exe. I have tried doing the same on another pc with the same file and it works ok with no errors.

I was just wondering why it does it on my pc. I have reinstalled Office and still no joy.

I am running a 2ghz processor with 512Mb memory and Windows 2000...

i am thinking of 3 options:

1. repair ms excel by using the detect & repair option (if it is available).

2. repair ms excel via add remove programs

3. make a copy of the file because the original file might be corrupted.
