Administrator from old user preventing me form installing new OS

I have this laptop, and I have the disk for win 2000, how do I get around "you have to be an administrator to install?

(Loose...I figured out the wrong letters...I didn't know that this laptop has the number keys in the letters...Haven't had a laptop in a while!)

Set the BIOS to 'Boot from CD' and install at boot instead of Windows.

you can also use erd commander. it worked for me!
