Spyware/Prog keeps hijacking I.E. 6

I'm not too sure what the problem is but I will do my best to describe it so that we can troubleshoot this bug.

The issue:

I click on a link on a certain site, and I am able to see the status of the page loading when suddenly its hijacked and displays a search page site.

What I did to troubleshoot

I figured I had spyware, so I ran bulletproof's spy removal software and it detected a few bugs. Restarted and the results were the same. By coincidence, I had clicked on the search button located where HOme, Refresh, Back, Forward buttons are... Well displayed was the same search site! I found that it was embedded on the registry and needed to manually be removed, I eventually accomplished that but the hijack remains.

I tested on another computer the same site and it worked fine, no hijacking, nothing.

What can I do? Thank you in advance

Firstly tell us ...

Operating System?

Internet Browser?

Email Client?

Peer to Peer applications?

Name of the site that the browser goes to?

i support spybot. it is much more effective in removing spyware in the registry as compared to adaware (endorsed by steve gibson - www.grc.com). we use spybot at work.

be sure to run the updates so you get everything cleaned.

Spybot (Downloadable Here) is a spyware killer.

Go to the link and read the reviews.
