What is the fundamental difference between AND and Intel Chip set, beside being manufactured with different name and company ?

Okay Okay, My computer is fine, no performance issues, because I have Norton Antivirus and Symatec firewall. Anyway. The trojan virus Trojan.Byte.Verify, infected some files involving the Sun micro systems Java app. back in MAY!!!. I've had no problems so I haven't had to check in a while. But I did just for the heck of it. Even though i should be way more careful. Okay so, The files show up as infected in norton anti-virus, but when i try to clean them, it says can't because the files are, A. moved or deleted, B. The computer they are located on is turned off. or C. They are involving an email. Well since I regularly clear cleared my cache, and my temp internet files, On IE and firefox, and dumped all that class loader stuff, on my Sun java applet, on both browers again. But since I haven't seen any affects of the virus, after 2 months, I think they are probably deleted. Just wondering from an experts opinion. And if you think they are still there, give me a suggestion on how tog et rid of em' THANK's A BUNCH!!!

I cannot access my HD. In the bios, it comes up as "disabled." Could this be a virus? Vidster, of this forum, says it might be a new virus. Any idea's?
I'd be glad for any help. There's more information at http://www.softwaretipsandtricks.com...ad.php?t=22510
