Startup Problem

before the Windows XP logo displays... my motherboard makes *beep beep* noise.. then it displays

Drivers Not Ready... System Halted..

??? can anyone thing what might be the problem?

You need to know the brand of bios installed. You should see this on the bootup(POST) screen. Hit the 'pause/break' key to stop it so you can read it if necessary and then <enter> to continue boot.

no i haven't install any new hardware..

i did bought GeForce 4 like.. 2-3 months ago.. but i had this problem before i install the new GeForce 4

OH NO!!!

2 short Parity circuit failure

that sounds very bad....

CIRCUIT FAILURE!!! THIS IS BAD NEWS...

Are your Bios AMI? Be aware that those codes can be different for different makers.

if you know how to get in the bios, which can be different for all computers, some use the delete key, others F1, F10,.....list goes on, but anyway, go into the bios, and you will have to look a bit, for halt on, change it to all but keyboard, if that dont get it, change to noe, and see if you can figure out what died in windows.
