one thing to rember free, isnt always "free", if you download free programs such as screen savers, messenger add-ins, and many other kinds of free programs you are more than likely allowing spyware to invade your pc. spyware isnt always to terrible, just want to know what you do with your pc, some run processes and slow you down or stop you all together and report things to the creator of the software you would rather they not know such as passwords ect., but, their is a lot of good software for free, alot later become retail versions or are a kind of samle of the full program. i am going to include a small list of some things that are pretty handy and safe and more importantly FREE.
