Question Help with Ad-Aware, cookies, etc.?

Hi all, I'm hoping you can help me here.

I use ad-aware every day, sometimes more. I just automatically delete everything it finds, but am running into trouble from some web sites I frequent*, and I think it's because I need their cookies on my computer. Is there any way to tell, via ad-aware, which sites sent which cookies, then add the ones I want to keep to my ignore list?

Is there any way to put all the cookies I've ever erased back on my computer, then start again once I know the answer to my first question?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks much,

Chris

* For instance, one web site won't let me log into or retrieve my password suddenly, another won't remove the "new message" tag from the threads I've already read. Stuff like that.

Hi

I know what you mean, and you can lose more than just cookies.

I use adaware, and whenever I am worried about losing something valuable, I just look thru the logfile, and if I am worried about one of them, I quarentine them, instead of deleting them. Seems to work for me although the people here on this board are so great, they may have a better idea.
