I'm running WinXP, I tried to install some software but was unable. It was trying to install it on C drive. From installing and unistalling Linux on the same hdd as WinXP I wound up with E drive. There was no way to change out C drive for E drive on the software as it was fixed. The software said it was for 98 and above but no mention of XP.
... if you're willing to reformat, use the linux install disk to wipe out the mbr and partition tables, had to do that where I formatted a drive and installed win98 from a previous linux install, after the cleanup, it worked perfectly in my case.
