Unhappy Internet Explorer Problems

Hey everyone, I am Mike and I am having problems with my internet explorer. My brother had a problem too so I will tell you guys both at the same time. When you go into Internet options from the toolbar you usually get like 6 tabs but 2 of his tabs disappeared. For me the bottom of the screen where it shows loading and the website disappeared. Do any of you know how I can fix these things, because they are very annoying.

BTW, I'll be posting pictures of what I mean as soon as I get home.

Thanks in advance,
Mike.

Ok I think I fixed the links. Here they are again:

Bugged Internet options

Normal Internet options

I think they don't work because you need to put in the www before miket, or take it out. That should work. I dont know why the work only sometimes.

The tabs missing are General and Programs. Do you know what i am talking about?

Try re-installing IE.

You can either Remove IE then Install or try an install over the top of the existing installation.

The thing is, I have Windows XP with different accounts. My account is where i showed you the normal one, where my brother has his own with that bugged one. I dont know how I am suppose to uninstall IE. I looked into IEradicator but do not want to do that and it doesnt support XP. I ran Adaware and nothing came up as that would provide a fix. One more thing, I downloaded Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1 or something like that (the service pack). When I try to install it, it says cannot install due to a later version of internet explorer already being installed on the computer. How am I suppose to uninstal it. Heh. Wow I talk too much.

Check the 'User Rights' for your brother's account.

He may not have the right to use the functions in those tabs.
