Help with Outlook Express Attachments

I'm running XP Pro with OE 6.0

I recently got a new computer with a new hard drive. I added my old hard drive as a slave to the new main hard drive. I then uploaded all the programs that I wanted to run.

In the process, I also booted up and upgraded my Outlook Express. Everything operates just fine except that I'm having a problem with opening attachments (.eml). What would cause this? When I try to open the attachments, the program does not know what program to run it in. For that matter, I don't either.

I never had this problem before, but, since the I got this new computer running, nothing but problems with attachments.

I'm also running BlackICE, Meaya Popup Ad Filter and Norton AntiVirus ... if that helps.

Any suggestions????

Open My Computer > Tools > Folder Options > File Types ...

Scroll down the list and select EML > In the details box it should say 'Opens with Outlook Express'.

If it doesn't click Change > then select Outlook Express from the list of applications > OK > Close.
