Does this part of the forum count for our number of posts? It seem like it shouldn't because most people just spam on it.

I don't think so, but usually you can tell how knowledgeable a member is by his or her number of posts. Sort of a status symbol. If there was someone who had 800 posts, but a bunch of them were in the test/spam forum, it would be misleading

if someone made 800 posts in this section they deserve an award for having the most time on their hands.
