Will windows 7 or vista run on dell precision 670

In particular I'd be most grateful for

[1] a link to Windows 7 drivers for the onboard sound (provided by a Soundmax chipset)

[2] How one makes out from the http:\\support.euro.dell.com website the answer to the question whether the 670 will run Vista or Windows 7.

If you really want to use windows 7, then make sure to have a lot of space in hard disk. Because the minimum hardware specification for Windows 7 to allow all of the features to work well is a 20 GB hard drive for a 64-bit architecture and 1GHz processor that is very demanding for some consumers.
