Question Copy and Paste HELP

All of a sudden, with no provocation from me, I am unable to copy and paste. I can copy but not paste. This happens in Word, Windows Mail, internet explorer, Firefox and anywhere else I have tried. I switched my mouse out to another one and still have the problem. Any Ideas out there?? I am running Windows 7 64

They want $39.95 and I am not sure if it will work. I don't like to pay for something that I am unsure of its validity.

Not sure where you saw that but try this:
Log in as administrator in your computer and run CMD. You will find it in the Accessories folder. Run it and type sfc /scannow. Type the command and press enter. The command prompt will scan your computer and if prompted for windows disc then provide it. It will replace and repair any damaged or corrupted files.

I did this same thing yesterday and it found errors and fixed them so I thought it was fixed. I tried to C & P and it worked once then stopped working. When I did it tonight, it said there were no errors. and still my copy and paste does not work. this is making me crazy

Post from Social Technet:
"This issue came up on my Win7 32bit professional recently. It worked before.....

After spending hours searching for an answer online somewhere, and got NADA FROM 50 FORUMS......

MOST if not ALL memory management software WILL clear the clipboard queue every time it engages..and it does so very often..in seconds usually. Check to be sure you do not have any kind of memory management or RAM MANAGER type of software loaded.

In my case it was Advanced System Care 5 from IOBIT software...LOVE THE SOFTWARE on Win 7..speeds everything up and clears out all the BS Miscosoft stuff running at boot... almost completely. But you have to go into its config to tell it to ignore the clipboard cache when it does it's memory management tasks. Otherwise it kills copy/paste functionality totally".

If this is no help you may have to run a repair install of Windows 7 http://pcsupport.about.com/od/toolso...tup-repair.htm
