how to change default priority of process?

For some reason an app I installed runs with "high" priority when launched, so to avoid lockups I have to manually set the priority to "normal" in the task manager.

How can I make the app run with normal priority (like it does by default on my OTHER windows XP system) I'm also curious why the app only runs high priority on my current XP system (I'm told it never does that on anyone else's system)

you will have to set each app through the registry. set the priority app you want to 0 then the next one you set to 1, and so on. there might be a prog that does it for you but am not to sure. search for one, you might get lucky.
