Win98 Install

When I try to install WIN98SE from the CD Rom it starts ok but when it gets to the point where it says that files are being copied needed for windows setup it just stalls so I copied the CAB files to the C: drive and tried to install that way with the same result. I have tried more than one install disk but get the same result. Any ideas?

go into the computer's bios, load setup or failsafe defaults, save and exit then try the install. could be a bios setting preventing it from installing. when done remember to set it all the way you like it or load performance settings.
