win 95 question solatire

Hi! I have a friend who gave his mom his old computer which runs win 95. he deleted Solatire because he did not play it. his mom wants that game back on her computer. Is there a way to do this?

I know how to do this in Windows 98 (W95 seems ages ago, can't recall if this is done in the same way) In the Control Panel choose Software, then Windows Setup. There you can choose which Windows items you want to install or remove.

It's also downloadable at Windowsupdate.

Click on Start, Settings, Control Panel

Then Click on Add/Remove Programs

Then Click on the Windows Setup Tab

Double click on the word Accessories

Check mark Games

Click OK

Click OK

It will install, however, you will need the Windows 95 Cdrom or the CABS on the harddrive.

If Games is already checked, then uncheck it, hit OK, go back into Accessories and hit OK again, following the rest of the steps.

Solitaire IS NOT available through windows update or as a download from Microsoft for Windows 95.
