Windows 98SE - Odd Browser Problem

Hi

I downloaded an AOL screensaver involving Lord of the Rings, and ever since (even although I have unistalled and deleted it) my browser window / monitor display appears to the right of my screen - i.e it is no longer central on the screen.

This makes it difficult to surf or use anything else as you can not scroll down / see half the screen.

I have tried adjusting the monitor settings using the buttons on the front of my monitor - but this is not the problem. It appears to be some kind of bug. Or is there something else to adjust the monitor settings? Something in the computer? Maybe through the control panel?

I am using Windows 98SE IE 6.0 on a Compaq Deskpro

Any help would be much appreciated - I have had this thing for over a week now and can not seem to get rid of it.

Regards

Seb.

That's a tough one , do you know that name of the screen saver ? do a search for the saver's name in the registry and delete every entry you find.

cheers
