TCP/IP Layer ........PLEASE PLEASE HELP SOON!

for some reason out the blue when i click my isp's icon to get online and when i open norton it says somethin bout

Cannot find TCP/IP Layer make sure windows is completely installed....

if i restart my pc i have to restore it to a previous date to get online...

please help......

your TCP/IP stack is messed-up.. you have to un-install and reinstall the Network card driver and it will work after.

forgive me 4 bein slow.....how exactly do i do that?

seems everytime i think i know how to do somethin i end up screwin it up worse lol

First please make sure you have the driver for you network card handy. Go to control panel, system manager and find network card, right click on it and click uninstall, reboot the machine and it shoudl find the new device (your network card), it will ask you for the driver disk which you need to reinstall it.
