Unable to load explorer.exe

An error message appears on the windows ME screen that it is unable to load explorer.exe and we must reinstall windows. I checked the dos edit menu and explorer.exe is listed under the system.ini file but still not able to start windows. Can anyone help???

If u have broadband u can download a new copy of IE from Microsoft's website, unless you have it on a magazine coverdisk.
Failing that you could try to find the IE folder on the CD.
Any of those options will save you having to re-install Windows complete.
