Resource Usage

Resource usage - is there anyway in ME to find out the amount of 'resource' being used by each application that's running ?? System resource shows anywhere from 30% to 80% available and 'start-up' has been pared-down to a very few apps.
?????? Is there a way to 'release' resource used by an app after the app is closed ?? It appears that after running an app like Roxio - the available resource is very low.. Hope there's a way to reset other than re-booting.

A Google search for "free RAM" will give you a number of links to freeware utilities that may work. I've never used them so I can't recommend any.

As far as a utilty to display what process is using what resources, try a Google search for "ME resource monitor." I saw a few, one seemed to do what you're wanting but it wasn't free.

There is actually a program called Free RAM XP (Don't worry it is not only for XP). It is freeware and it might help a little bit. I have it but don't use it a lot. It might help clear up 10-25%. Search for it online.
