How to undelete a file in W98, WAS: Retrieving deleted messages in OE

I posted earlier about this, but it occured to me that the file I really want was the attachment, a MS Word doc that was manually deleted after I attached it. I've since emptied the Recycle bin and I'm fairly sure that I did not install anything on the old computer after that, so chances are good that the file was not overwritten. Is there a way to manually undelete it via the command prompt?

Windows no longer has a built-in undelete tool, but you can download a free 30-day trial of 'Handy Recovery' from here:

http://www.handyrecovery.com/

It runs from within Windows, not DOS.

Thanks. I did that using a different undelete program, File Rescue, but had to get the deleted file from my old computer, there was no sign of it on my new computer that I got in February. I was able to recover most of the file, (everything up to January) and am slowly recreating the rest of it.
