Hello!
I appologise if I placed this post in a wrong "room".
I'm having problems with my girlfriend's PC. It used to be a NT workstation before until the disk broke. I put in a new, 1.7 GIG disk previously formated in Win XP (my PC). Unfortunatly I cannot remember how was it formated (NTFS or FAT32). . I restarted it with inserted WIN98 CD and it wouldn't boot from it. I decided to change the jumper settings - still no good. So I entered the BIOS (with Compaq diagnostics diskettes), wanting to change the boot order. It could not be done. Can anyone help me - what do I need to do?
It's a fresh formated disk and I want to install WIN98 on it, but don't know how to proceed. Any help would be great. Thank you in advance!
