The cause of your problem isn't the GDI32.DLL but the MSIMG32.DLL. First check the size and version of the MSIMG32.DLL file. The file size should be around 52K. And the version should be 5.0.2218.1 or 5.0.1693.1. Download a new copy from one of the DLL file download site and replace the one in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM. Make sure the file size is approximately 52K. There are a number of MSIMG32.DLL files on the web and some will not work.

Hope this fixes yours.

Question

I looked around for that version .Dll file but couldn't find it. Maybe you can extract it from your CAB files and rename old one .old and replace with new .dll. That way if new one don't work you can rename the .old one back.
I will continue to try to help you on this untill sone one a bit brighter than myself comes along.

Every thing I have read about this subject seems to point to spyware problems. Do you have spybot, adware, etc. and is it current and do you run it. If not maybe that could be an avenue to explore.
Sorry I couldn't be more help.
