I figured out what's causing it, how do I make it work?

I figured it out, it was the USB ports, I disabled them in the device manager and it's gone away. But how do I make them work without causing problems with the computer? I've already done every possible update and patch. I got the new Dell BIOS for it and I got the Intel chipset drivers and everything for this model. Any ideas?

You could go through them one by one and disable them to check if it is just one that is causing the problem. Start/Right click on My computer/Select properties/Select Hardware/Device manager/Click on the usb ports/Right click on one and disable it.

It's both of the USB ports. That's all I know, and Microsoft's search engine is crap I can't ever find anything in the knowledgebase on their website. Damn Windows ME.
