Getting rid of ME when I also have 2000

My mother has ME and 2000 on the same computer. She says that ME sucks and she wants to get rid of it but keep 2000. When she turns on the computer she has the option of using ME or 2000. Neither of us are computer gurus. What is the safest, easiest way to do this?

Read the following MSKBA, paying particular attention to the section entitled 'Removing an Operating System from the Menu'. Naturally, in your case, it will be ME, because ME really does suck, bigtime, IMO : -
