I would completely reinstall the network (on that PC). When I've seen that issue in the past, I yank the TCP/IP, any form of NetBIOS, the FilePrint Sharing, etc. and then completely reinstall it. It may have bad telnet settings.
Reinstall the Network Neighborhood and then try it again. Try viewing your networked PCs before you install the XP Home Networking disk though. I've had nothing but issues with that thing....
Good luck.

Alright, I'm going to have you try something for the nethood issue. I'm still looking into the internal issues with the scripting errors......try extracting the nethood.htt file.

Go to Start, click Run, type regsvr32 webvw.dll, and then click OK. If the command is successful, you receive a "DllRegisterServer in webvw.dll succeeded." message.

We'll see if that fixes the network neighborhood issue. Good luck.

You can uninstall IE from WinME but not from XP. Here's Microsofts page on it:

I had the same error. I tracked it down to having lost "My Documents" after uninstalling Internet Explorer.

Go to Start, click Run, type regsvr32 mydocs.dll, and then click OK. If the command is successful, you receive a "DllRegisterServer in webvw.dll succeeded." message.

Now browse "My Network Places". Browse "My Pictures". They should be back to normal.
