Installing 98 over ME

As ME is a newer version, i can't install 98 over the top. Can someone send me a walkthrough (for a total newbie) please

As if installing a newer version of windows on top of itsel was not bad enough, now you're trying to go backwards? I can't blame you for wanting to kill the ME partition though, I would not run that OS if I was getting $$$ to do so... Why not reformat your HDDs and start from scratch?

Or better yet, why not run XP or some variant of Linux?

Yeah, i want to format the hdd and install 98!
I just don't know how to! Which is why i was asking.
Can't run XP, much as i would like to, because it has 32mb RAM!
I'll check that link now.
