desktop icons

The icons on my desktop have become kind of distorted and the picture disappears altogether and becomes a blank square. What can I do to get the pictures back on my desktop icons?

Tweakui on the repair tab.

There are a lot of good things you can do with Tweakui.

Hey Keti,

So you dL'ed and installed Tweakui. You went to the control panel and opened tweakui and from the repair tab you clicked repair now. What happened when you did that?

Your screen should have refreshed(blinked) and your Shelliconcache in the windows folder should have a new date. Like if you do it now it would have today's date.

If it does not have a new date, delete it and windows will rebuild it. (That's actually what Tweakui does).

I did the same thing yesterday but for some reason it didn't work......maybe I forgot to restart after downloading but it worked today!
