Question Differences between 98 and 98se...

I was wondering... what exactly are the difference between Windows 98 and 98 Second Edition?

I'm thinking about dual-booting one of these alongside Windows XP.

Thanks.

Not to sure, but SE will have some bugfixes over the first.
Every body uses SE as far as i know.

As you said there are more bug fixes. I think there is aslo some improvements with the way Windows manages memory, bigger driver database and support for USB.

Early incarnations of 98 can't support a processor speed over 2.2 GHz (causes a NDIS.vxd error on boot) without a patch that you have to get directly from microsoft support.

98se doesn't have this bug.
