Missing Pictures - Help!

Hopefully I can explain this to make sense since it really doesn't make sense to me. I have a number of pictures on my computer that runs with Kodak Easy Share. About a week ago, we had to reformat our computer cause it was having problems, etc.
Now, some of my pictures were moved all over the place to different locations. I have now been told that this might happen during reformat. I have found the majority of them, but here's my problem. I had downloaded Foto Finish software on a trial basis and then decided not to get it and I uninstalled it. Now, I see that some of my pics are in a file in Windows/ApplicationData/FotoFinish/Favorites. When I try to open the folder, it tells me there is no shortcut, tries to browse and can't find it.
Any ideas how to open my photos so I can move them to the right locations?
Thanks for any ideas!

Try running a search in the program my computer. It gives you the option to search for pictures, music and files and a couple of other things.
Just go to my computer and open it, double click on the "c" drive to open it and use the search button on the tool bar at the top. Just click the one for pictures, music, or videos. You may have to click the button or line " search for other options" This will look for any picture known file type. It will bring up a whole listing of pictures even those used in programs and other things. But it will show you where they are located and you can copy then into a folder of your choosing.
Good luck!

Missing pics

Thanks for replying, but unfortunately I have done that. I did a search on anything that has .jpg in the file and I got lots of pics, but none that I was looking for. I can see the folders, but when I try to open them, I get a "Missing Shortcut" box that is browsing and never finds the file. The problem files have bytes in them, so I know they are not empty.
I saw a site which I thought was free called "Bug Doctor", downloaded it and it said I had hundreds of "shortcut" errors. When I clicked the fix-it button, it now told me I had to purchase one of their packages in order to fix it. I'm a little leary of this. Does anyone know of or have used this Bug Doctor?
