win98 wont install usb flash disk!

pls taught to know why my win98 pc wont install my usb flash disk.
Actually, it detected it but could not install it.

Hi Gideon, Do you mean that 98 wont install automatically without a driver? Win98 will have to be Win98SE and when Win98 was written Flash Disks had not been invented. Some come with a 98SE driver and some don't. Sometimes the manual tells you where to get it. If not then try the manufacturers site. If no luck there try driverguide.com. Luck, Jim

yeh try get the driver if you had one from the USB flash disk box, if not, find it on the model of your flash disk on the web then install.
