Shut Down Question

Hi all, Since installing Panda Software Titanium 2005 anti-virus, I cannot get Windows 98 SE to shut down. Prior to this (using AVG) Windows would go to the "windows is shutting down screen" and a few seconds later shut off the computer. Now it goes to the "shutting down" screen and sits there until I turn off the computer manually. I remember there used to be a setting in Windows to "check" so Windows would shut off the computer. I can't remember where it is. Any help please?
Thank you.

Here is a WINDOWS SHUTDOWN & RESTART troubleshooting guide.
http://aumha.org/win4/a/shutdown.htm

You might also run a registry scan by clicking start\run then type scanreg then click OK. This will check your registry for errors and will give you a repair option if errors are detected. You might also do a system restore, start\run type msconfig and at the bottom click restore backup.
