WinME IE problem

Windows ME machine
After installing Stealth Surf Pro 2 IE no longer works.
Dont own a WinME cd
Tried removing stealth app with no luck. Fails to uninstall
No IE in add/remove or add/remove/windows setup.
Installation of ISP cd comes back saying it cant connect online.
ipconfig does come back with all the ip's and ping does ping out to yahoo.com
sfc does not work. Comes back as a invalid command.
Have no alternative browser.
Tried the restore with no success going back 3 weeks. Says the restore date cant be used. Tried few other dates and all say the same on reboot. and the restore process only works from safe mode. From normal boot WinME it just freezes up and a window asking weather to wait or shut it down keeps popping up.
Any more idea?

Here's a fix that worked for me. I downloaded a 7 day lease of MightyMax and did a deep clean of my system. There was still stuff on there after all other spyware/malware/virus checks etc were implemented. Most were in the registry. After cleaning it up I found the following on Geeks To Go and walla it fixed IE 6.0:
If Internet Explorer is not listed in the Add/Remove Programs tool in Control Panel, you may be able to start the IE Repair tool from command prompt.

Click Start~~~>Run, and then type the following:

rundll32 setupwbv.dll,IE6Maintenance "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\Setup\SETUP.EXE" /g "C:\WINDOWS\IE Uninstall Log.Txt"

NOTE: This command is case sensitive.

If you need to replace a bad file, use either the System File Checker (SFC) tool or the Extract tool to extract the file. For more info please check out the Microsoft Support page:
