Sound card recognized but not working
oki doki. i just rebooted my system to 98SE. i didnt check what drivers and stuff was needed so ive had a pretty hard job sorting it all out. but finally everything is sorted, thanks to everest ultimate edition all apart from the sound.
When Im in media player i get this:

gah! device manager is telling me i have an sis 7108 installed no conflicts. ive checked BIOS, redownloaded drivers. reinstalled them. Ive tried everything. but still in direct x there is no music section and i cant get any sounds out of the speakers. any ideas?
