massages during logon

I'm instaling win98se on old IBM NetVista PC's which are donated to needy children
The pc's work o.k, only during logon I get 2 massages:
Unknown device-
PCI system managment bus
After canceling the massages it works OK and no errors in the control panel
I downloaded the latest drivers from Intel for the 815 chipset
and from Lenovo/IBM but it still happens on all the pc's
Thnks

Hi, A device is always UNKNOWN until the system finds it. The one you mention is found, but no drivers are found for it. It sounds like it should be in the drivers you downloaded. Remove it from DEVICE MANAGER and try again to install your drivers. If you can't get it to go and the Computer works OK then X it out in Device Manager and forget it. Happens that way sometime. Luck, Jim

About your advise-the control panel is without errors after it finishes login, so I cant do what you suggested.
