I have had that problem before. You need to configure windows ihnternet connection to work with your wirless card.
I think this is how you do it. It was a long time ago when I did it. Click on the start button, go to settings I think it is, and then control pannel. Double click on internet options. Click on the connections tab, then click on the LAN Settings button. Check the Automatically detect settings box at the top and click OK.
That should set it up for you.
