Intel sound card driver
Friends: I have just set up a dual boot system with Windows XP and Windows 98SE. My computer is a Dell 730 MHz and chipset is Intel 82801AA. Of course the sound card is built into the motherboard. My sound works fine with Windows XP but I just cannot get any sound with Windows 98SE. Windows XP just grabbed the driver from its database. I tried umpteem drivers from the Net, but Win 98SE does not accept any. The sound card shows up in XP as Intel 82801AA AC97 Audio Controller. Has anyone travelled this way before? Any suggestions? Any help? Thanks a lot.
