Exclamation Please, please someone help me.

I need help! I installed a Veo stingray web cam. It comes w/a e-card feature. My kid made an e-card, then tried to e-mail it. It would not e-mail, so he closed it. Okay, now every time I turn on my computer this E-Card player pops up. I have to close it for my desktop icons to come up. I have tried to find the file and delete it, it is not working. Also, when I go into SETTINGS and try to open anything in there this E-Caard player pops up. It will not allow me to open anything. If I try to shut down the pc it asks me do you want to shut down, I press okay and instead of it shutting down the E-Card player starts. I have to shut it down with CTL-ALT-DEL, it is driving me bats. I am also not a computer genius which makes this situation all the worse. I would appreciate any thing anyone has to contribute. The only thing I have been advised to do is to reinstall WINDOWS 98 over the one I currently run, unfortunately, I do not know exactly how to do this and am fearful of this thing exploding. I also have to find one to purchas as they are no longer for sale retail. Please help me Obi Wan, youu're my only hope.

Goto Control Panel : Add / Remove Software, Uninstall all software to do with "E-Card".

If it doesnt work, Remove all software that came with the webcam, then remove the webcam from the hardware list. And re-install it all, without the E-Card software.

I wish that I could say that your reply solved my problem, but here's the thing; when go to settings/control panel/add-remove/ I go to open it and this e-card creator comes up. No matter what I try to open, Multimedia, system, add/remove, everything. I go to open it and that thing pops up. nothing is behind it either as I have tried minimizing the e-card screen when it comes up, it is not letting me open anything at all. You can see how this would cause me a great deal of grief. I thank you for your reply. If you have any other ideas besides me throwing the whole thing off my balcony, please feel free to tell me. Thanks again! Any body else got any ideas?

it may be that this software installed something in your start up
please check as follows
start-programs -accessories -system tools-system information.
the sys. info dialogue will open-click tools then system configuration utility then the start up tab ...see if the program is there and untick it.let me know how it works or we will look in the registrys run section
Good luck!!!
