Thats more than likely the dial up modem. It could be one of hundreds... There is a cheat I do with these. I pull them out of the machine and if they do not have any identification markings or numbers boot that card up in a XP machine and see if it installs legacy drivers. if it does then you check device manager to see what the card is. write it down and google search win 98 drivers for that model. if it does not install it or you do not have a XP/Vista machine to try it in there are some kind of numbers on at least one of the chips on the card, just search the numbers you find until you start seeing driver listings on the results.

When I checked the device manager, under Other Devices, Multimedia Audio Controller had a big yellow question mark in front of it.
please advice, i have an external creative sound blaster audigy 2 ZS sound card that it is not recognized by the laptop.
This id the information of my laptop:
C:\Program Files\Belarc\Advisor\System\tmp\(Gustoshibalap).ht ml.
