Question PCI management bus/ multimedia audio driver

I have reinstalled my windows 98 and these keep popping up as new hardware found but I can't find the drivers for them, if anyone has any info on how or where i can correct this problem I would really appreciate immensely.

What is your system hardware specification?

Also go into 'Device Manager' and see which components are showing the exclamation mark.

Any devices in Device Manager that are marked with the ! are not working correctly (in the eyes of the OS).

Note these devices and go to the Manufacturers website for the latest Drivers and update as per the instructions on the site.

When I get into the Device Management, I see one line with a yellow exclamation mark with the text "PCI System Managerment Bus". When I click on the properties of that, the "Device status" has the text "The drivers for this device are not installed(Code 28.). To reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall Driver"

What's that and what should I do to fix that?

Hi, No Version of Winddoze has the drivers for everything. Go to the mother board maker's site and download the Mother board drivers and the other devices makers for their drivers. Never reformat a drive unless you have all the drivers for the system. Luck, Jim

Hi, Windoze does not have all drivers for all devices. Download them from the maker or from driversguide.com. Jim
