NTKERN.VXD unfound... is it a 98 thing?

Leading off my last posts.. cause it was a while since i got a response...

Anyways... When i look through my audio driver... it says that its working... but when i get the details... it says that the NTKERN.VXD cannot be found....

Now please dont tell me that I cannot get it for 98.. cause i went through a huge hassle to get onto 98 instead of xp....

I only go through those errors when I copy over the file...

My friend mentioned something about putting all the cab files in windows before completely installing 98... how do i do that?
