File size issues...
Ok, here goes...

System Information

WindowsME (No Updates)
Intel Celeron 600
192MB Ram
10GB Hard Drive

Problem

File size reporting. When clicking a folder in windows explorer it reports, lets say... C:\Windows

Size= 100MB
Size on disk= 500MB

Why would there be this much a descrepency? (There is NO file compression active on this computer) Thank you in advance!

Which 'File System' is on your disk ...

FAT 16?

FAT 32?

Well... I eventually solved the problem... its a cluster size issue... the cluster size was set way too big for a fat 32 drive, so files were taking up more space than nessesary! Thanks All!
