Outlook Express - Duplicate Email Remover

I had server problems for approx a week and during that time, I ended up with the same emails being sent over and over.

Is there a program that I can use for Outlook Express that will Outlook Express that will remove duplicates .

There are thousands of emails filtered into folders involved, so it is not a simple matter of just clicking delete on them.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you're talking about those Viagra adds and the others for your manhood enhancher, then there is a good possibility that you are getting hammered by them. Check the time sent and I'll bet that they aren't being duplicated. Not much you can do about it, it's happening to everyone. I suggest that you buy yourself some really good mail filtering software to keep the trash out of your inbox. I get hit with 50 to 100 of those a day on my personal mail let along a biz account.
It's real easy for them to surf the who-is directories and get thousands of biz e-mail names to send to.

braindead, what "nannam" is talking about is different then what you are saying,, you would not know about it unless it happens to you,, this problem with occurs when you are in middle of downloading you email if you try to disconnect or cancel the download,, it had happen to me and it is VERY annoying,, what I had to do was first,, save my email files (*.dbx) , then uninstall the I.E 6, then remove the account from the I.e 5.x (what ever version the is built into the O.S. them reinstall I.E -> recreate all the email accounts and then import the old email into the new Outlook Express,, give that a shot "nannam".

Hi,

I am searching for an duplicate email remover for Outlook express.
I have 2 computers with outlookexpress on - 1 at the office and 1 @ home both of them have tons of emails in them and as I am now going to work from home permanent (new baby) I would like to import my Outlook Express messages from work into my machine at home. I know there are going to be around 40/50% duplicates and I have NO idea how to clear these out and have 1 clean email box to work from.

Can anyone give me an idea what is best or if there is a piece of add-on software I could install. It is simply impossible to go trough it mannually.

Any advice is more than welcome!!!

If You Get Duplicates, Close And Reopen Outlook

Or (easier)

Click On Something Else, Like "deleted Items", Then Click Back On "inbox". The Duplicates Should Disappear

I came in to ask about the same thing here... Every time I open my mail incoming emails duplicate them. For the last year I have simply clicked on the sent items then back and that worked. Then it got to where I to wait and let it fully load all new incoming, then do it. Now it takes several attempts at this to work.

Is there a way to stop it from happening at all?

Is Outlook better? Is it as easy to set it up for my MSN account?
