98SE dual booting?
OK, see if you can crack this one:
I want to edit film nicely, however the two best free film editing programs are imovie (mac only) and moviemaker2 (XP only) by general editorial consent (don't ask me I've used neither - but i want to!). So with me running 98SE how on earth can I run either of these? I can't find versions of either to run on 98 so i was thinking would a dual boot with mac OS allow me to run imovie? I know very little about these things, but i don;t want to upgrade from 98SE as i've only just got it tweaked the way I want. Any suggestions AT ALL???

why not just dual boot with XP or 2K PRO.I mean Microsoft is trying to force everybody to upgrade anyways, their dropping support fo98-S.E., just like they did for N.T. and 95. Not sure but I think ME is already not supported or is on the chopping block with 98-S.E.. And hardware manufactures aren't making drivers for 9X-ME programs anymore or are rarely doing so. Look at video card manufactures they've stopped making drivers for any video cards for N.t.,9X-ME about a year or more ago. You can use VMware it will let you run several oses virtually on any machine. think you can still download a trial version of the newest version from microsoft.didn't think you can dual boot a mac oses on non mac machines.
